Symmetry Coordinates a Fast, Modular Build for a High-Demand Market
Symmetry Companies is proud to serve as the general contractor for The Larkspur, a 52-unit modular workforce housing community in Breckenridge, Colorado. Located on Airport Road near the Summit County Justice Center, this essential housing project was developed in partnership with Summit County and the Town of Breckenridge to address the area’s critical housing shortage.
As GC, Symmetry led the coordination of all project stakeholders—from design and permitting to modular logistics and site construction—ensuring seamless collaboration between local agencies, the modular manufacturer (Fading West), and development teams. Leveraging modular construction, the project accelerated its timeline significantly, with all buildings installed in just a few days following off-site fabrication in Buena Vista.
The Larkspur includes a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units, with half dedicated to residents earning up to 80% of the area median income.
With over 700 applicants vying for the 52 available units, the demand speaks volumes. Final move-ins began in June 2024, delivering real impact in the Breckenridge community.
