Symmetry Builders transformed an 18,000 SF former spice plant for Butterball Turkey into five tenant spaces, including a pet store and potential distillery, in Longmont, CO. The project involved gutting the dilapidated structure, replacing the roof, and upgrading the site with parking, landscaping, concrete, asphalt, a tension/rain garden pond, lighting, trash enclosures, and utilities. We addressed extensive water damage by replacing perimeter track, adding sealant, spray foam, and metal flashing to preserve the windowless steel building’s structure. The exterior was re-treated and painted to achieve a modern aesthetic while retaining its industrial character. This lump-sum project, completed in 2021, showcases our expertise in adaptive reuse for vibrant commercial spaces.
