Redeveloping a Book Bindery into Retail Restaurants
This 9,500 SF renovation in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, completed in 2015 over six months, transformed a near end-of-life book bindery into three retail restaurant spaces via design-build. Symmetry Builders preserved historic elements while adding structural enhancements, new MEP systems, and a large patio with a retaining wall. Early design involvement ensured budget alignment, eliminating coordination issues. The lump-sum project features high-end finishes to attract diners. This redevelopment elevates LoHi’s dining scene with vibrant spaces.
