Cole Nelson

Cole is a second-generation general contractor and developer with more than 3 million square feet of completed construction, including over 1 million square feet of mixed-use urban infill projects. He leads Symmetry’s development and preconstruction teams, overseeing underwriting, entitlement strategy, design coordination, budgeting, and execution from concept through construction.

Based in Bozeman, Cole established Symmetry’s Montana office to support infill and mixed-use development across high-growth Mountain West markets. His experience spans multifamily, modular, and complex urban product types, with a focus on cost control, risk mitigation, and disciplined capital execution.

Cole holds a B.S. in Construction Management from North Dakota State University and maintains a Class A license for high-rise construction.
